There’s lots happening in Milam County so I thought I would take some time this week to update everyone on a few of the things going on here with the county.
I am writing this on Sept. 12, 2023. The day after the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Prior to this year, some previous Milam County elected officials refused to address nor recognize much less consider the growth that was already happening here in Milam County.
As we have been moving through the Budget Town Hall Meetings, there are some parts of the process that I thought we could address so folks know some of what has been done.
Each year Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District (POSGCD) holds their Groundwater Summit in Caldwell. Last week I had the pleasure of addressing an audience of about 300 people there.
