Flemings duo headed to Regional Cross Country Meet

The Yoemen cross country team competed in the UIL 3A - District 19 meet at Bluebonnet Park in McGregor on Oct. 9. 

Cameron had two runners in the girls varsity run. Yierra Flemings finished sixth in the race with a time of 12:48. Kiera Land finished 25th in the race with a time of 13:56. 

The varsity boys finished fourth with a combined total of 78 points. Leading the way for the Yoemen was Damon Flemings, who finished sixth with a time of 17:25. Next was  Brady Havens, finishing 13th with a time of 18:18. Ricardo Reyes was next to come through, finishing 18th with a time of 18:50. Josh Jochec was right behind him, finishing 19th with a time of 18:51. Zachary Frausto was next, finishing 22nd with a time of 19:07. Next was Alejandro Silva, finishing 26th with a time of 19:24. The last to cross the finish line for Cameron was Marbel Reducindo. Reducindo finished 39th with a time of 20:53. 

The Flemings duo Yierra and Damon, both qualified for the Regional Meet, which will be on Monday, Oct. 23, at Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park in Huntsville.
