Football Season Coming

The Yoemen football team had their first scrimmage game of the year on Friday, Aug. 16. They traveled to Robinson for a dual scrimmage with both Robinson and Whitney. Coach Aaron Babino was hoping to see execution, minimal penalties, and maximum effort on every play in this scrimmage match. The team certainly brought all of that with them to Robinson as they looked to be very smooth on both offense and defense. The Yoemen will be back in action for one final scrimmage before the regular season opener. It will be tonight, Aug. 22, at Madisonville and is set to start at 7 p.m. They kick off the regular season in La Grange next Friday.
