Lady Yoe 3-1 at Thrall Tourney
Over the weekend of Feb. 15-17, the Cameron Lady Yoe softball team participated in an in-season tournament hosted by Thrall. The Lady Yoe finished the weekend with a record of 3-1.
Cameron played two games on Thursday, the first game coming against the Somerville Lady Yeguas. Cameron shut out Somerville, winning 5-0.
Cameron played two more games on Friday, the first game was against the Snook Lady Jays. The Lady Yoe were victorious, beating Snook 8-5. Up next, Cameron took on the host Thrall Tigrettes. The Lady Yoe fell to Thrall, losing in a heartbreaker 3-2. Cameron Finished tournament play on Saturday against the Lago Vista Lady Vikings. The Lady Yoe came out on top, winning 10-5.
Over the weekend, the Lady Yoe will be hosting an in-season tournament. They will have two games on Thursday: the Bruceville Eddy Lady Eagles at 8 a.m. and the Burton Lady Panthers at 12:40 p.m. They will play two games on Friday: The Killeen Lady Roos at 8 a.m. and the Burton Lady Panthers at 9:10 a.m. The Lady Yoe will have one game on Saturday against the Castleberry Lady Lions at 10:50 a.m. The Cameron JV team will also compete in this tournament. They will have two games on Thursday: Burton at 9:10 a.m and Castleberry at 11:30 a.m. They will play two games on Friday: Bruceville Eddy at 1:50 p.m. and Bremond at 3 p.m.
