Lady Yoe demolish McGregor to end season

The Cameron Lady Yoe softball team traveled on Friday to take on the McGregor Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Yoe demolished McGregor 17-1 in five innings due to the ten run rule. 

The Lady Yoe offense was on fire, scoring in all but one inning. Cameron got things moving in the first inning with seven runs. Kasara Brooks, Lauren Harris, Sam Frausto, and Camryn Ward all had RBIs in the inning.

The Lady Yoe collected a whopping 22 hits on the day. Lauren Harris, Peyton Polson, Kasara Brooks, Sam Frausto, Delanie Evans, and Diana Salomon all collected multiple hits for the Lady Yoe. Lauren Harris had a busy day at the plate, smacking five hits to lead the team. Cameron also tore up the base paths, stealing five bases. Kasara Brooks led the way with two. Peyton Polson earned the win in the circle for Cameron. She allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out one. 

With this win, the Lady Yoe finished the season with a record of 12-18-1 and a distinct record of 4-10.
