Lady Yoe gets sweep over Rogers

The Cameron Lady Yoe volleyball team traveled to take on the Rogers Lady Eagles Friday, Oct. 4. The Lady Yoe swept Rogers 3-0, winning the first set 25-20, the second set 25-17, and the third set 25-19. 

Here are the stats from the game: Mackenzie Mahan - one ace and 10 digs; Crystal Daniels - three kills and three digs; Allie Henson - three assists and six digs; Saydi Wimmer - 13 kills and 13 digs; Bailey Anderle - one kill, nine assists, and three digs; Liberty Alonzo - 19 assists, two aces, and two digs; Ava Magre - three kills, a block and four digs; Ka’Sara Brooks - eight kills, a block, three aces, and 10 digs; and Kennedy Banks - three kills, a block, an ace, and eight digs. 

On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Lady Yoe returned home to host the Lady Eagles of Summit Christian Academy. Cameron swept the Lady Eagles 3-0, winning the first set 25-19, the second set 25-17, and the third set 25-8. 

With this victory, Cameron has a record of 17-14 and a district record of 2-4. 

Up next, the Lady Yoe will remain home to host the Franklin Lady Lions on Friday, Oct. 11, at 4:30 p.m.
