Lady Yoe golfers end season at State Tourney

The Cameron Lady Yoe Golfers competed at the 3A State Golf Tournament on May 13-14 at Grey Rock Golf Club and came away with an eighth place finish with an 805 team score.  

District foe McGregor took the gold medal shooting a blistering 692, while Lago Vista (726) took second and Callisburg (741) took third.

Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill’s  Mason Garrett (151) took home the individual gold medal while McGregor’s Paige Gilstrap (157) took silver, and Ida Hansen (160) from Omaha Paul Pewitt beat out McGregor’s Maggie Parmer in the playoff for third.

Lady Yoe results from the tournament were: T-34th Senior Jazmin Vaculin 100 - 94 - 194; T-43rd Junior Presley Berry 104 - 97 - 201; T-49th Senior Emily Graham 108 - 97 - 205; T-49th Junior Carley Tucker 93 - 112 - 205; 69th Freshman Alexis Stroud 123 - 120 - 243.
