Lady Yoe soccer starts season at Navasota Tournament
The Lady Yoe soccer team traveled to Navasota last weekend to participate in their in-season tournament. The Lady Yoe were winless in the tournament, finishing with a record of 0-4.
Cameron played one game on Thursday against the host Navasota Lady Rattlers. Cameron was defeated by way of penalty kicks in overtime, losing 3-0.
The Lady Yoe played two games on Friday, the first game coming against the Scarborough Lady Spartans. Cameron was shut out by Scarborough, losing 4-0.
The second game Friday was against the Taylor Lady Ducks. Cameron was shut out by Taylor, losing 4-0.
Their final game was a matchup with the Montgomery Lady Bears. Cameron fell to Montgomery in a hard fought game, losing 3-2.
On Tuesday, Jan. 9, the Lady Yoe traveled to take on the Bellville Lady Brahmas. Cameron was shut out by Bellville, losing 7-0.
Up next for the Lady Yoe, they will be hosting an in-season tournament this weekend. The game times and opponents are yet to be announced.
