Layne named Academic All-State; Tucker First Team All-District

A single Lady Yoe volleyball player earned All-State recognition. 

The Texas Girls Coaches Association released their Academic All-State teams last week and Lady Yoe volleyball player Kenzee Layne was Cameron’s lone selection this year. 

Several Lady Yoe players earned All-District honors for the season.

Senior Carley Tucker earned First Team All-District honors and Junior Ja’Kerra Holt earned Second Team All-District honors. Layne, a senior, earned Honorable Mention All-District Honors.

Team members earning Academic All-District honors were: Junior Trinity Daniels, Freshman Ainsley Driska, Holt, Layne, Fresheman Makaelyn Perez, Freshman Haley Tucker and Freshman Kaly White.
