Marin named District Co-Defensive MVP
The Lady Yoe volleyball team made history this season as they made their first postseason appearance since 2014. They made it all the way to the regional quarterfinals, where they would be defeated by the Lorena Lady Leopards, but the accomplishments didn’t stop there. This week, the Lady Yoe were given district honors to celebrate their amazing season.
Kirsten Marin was named Co-Defensive MVP.
First Team All-District honors went to Ainsley Driska and Haley Tucker. Second Team All-District honors went to Kaly White. Honorable Mention went to Sydni Smith, Lauren Harris, Jessa Florez, and Lindsay Talafuse.
There were also six players who made the Academic All-District team - Kirsten Marin, Ainsley Driska, Haley Tucker, Kaly White, Sydni Smith, and Lauren Harris.
Congratulations to these ladies on these well-deserved awards as Cameron is very proud of their accomplishments and looks forward to next season.
