Pevehouse, Yoe boys headed to State Cross Country Meet
Several Yoe Cross Country runners are headed to the State Meet on Nov. 6.
The Cameron Yoe cross country team competed in the 3A Region 3 Championship located at Kate Barr Ross Park in Huntsville on Oct. 25.
The girl’s team only had one runner compete in the two-mile run, Logan Pevehouse. Pevehouse ended up finishing in seventh overall with a time of 12:54.
The boys competed in a three-mile run against 23 other schools and finished fourth overall with a score of 150. Nathan Evans was the regional champion, coming in with a time of 16:38.
Damon Flemings was next to finish for Cameron and finished fourteenth with a time of 17:21. Brady Havens was next, coming in 34th with a time of 18:07. Up next was Tracer Lopez who finished 55th with a time of 18:54. Brock Wright came in 69th with a time of 19:20. Zachary Frausto would be next, finishing in 116th with a time of 20:38. Cesar Munoz was the last to finish for Cameron, coming in 166th with a time of 23:19. The boys team advances to the State Meet.
The State Meet will be Nov. 6 in Round Rock.
