Yoe Cross Country competes at State Meet
The Cameron Yoe cross country team competed in the 3A State Championship located at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock on Nov. 5.
The girl’s team only had one runner compete in the two mile run, Logan Pevehouse. Pevehouse ended up finishing in 28th overall with a time of 12:31.
The boys competed in a three mile run against 15 other schools and finished twelfth overall with a score of 283.
Nathan Evans was the first runner to cross the finish line for Cameron, finishing 36th with a time of 17:12. Damon Flemings was next to finish for Cameron and finished 58th with a time of 17:35. Up next was Tracer Lopez who finished 95th with a time of 18:11. Brady Havens was next, coming in 114th with a time of 18:32. Brock Wright came in 143rd with a time of 19:56. Zachary Frausto would be next, finishing in 149th with a time of 20:34. Cesar Munoz was the last to finish for Cameron, coming in 151st with a time of 22:52.
