Library sprucing up for spring

It’s almost Spring and we are sprucing up our patio area to be usable for our patrons. Look for other upcoming improvements as well. New adult books on our shelves this week include: “Mission Critical” by Mark Greaney – book 8 in the Gray Man series; “The Chef” by James Patterson; “What Doesn’t Kill Her” by Christina Dodd; “The Lost Girls of Paris” by Pam Jenoff; and “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens. From funds donated to the Friends of the Library, we have added the following books to our collection: “Sandy Koufax, a Lefty’s Legacy” by Jane Leavy; “The Big Fella – Babe Ruth and the World He Created” by Jane Leavy; “Life Together” – The Classic Exploration of Christian Community by Dietrich Bonhoeffer; and “Letters and Papers from Prison” by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. As we are weeding some of our older, well-used books, we have also added about 50 new children’s/teens’ books to the Children’s Library this week. We are very grateful for the funds donated to us for purchasing items for the Library.
