Man found guilty of family violence

On Jan. 15, after a two-day jury trial, a Milam County jury returned a guilty verdict after deliberation, finding Roberto Cardoza, 28, of Cameron guilty of Third Degree Felony, Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence, with previous conviction. Assistant District Attorney Brian Price prosecuted the State’s case. The sentencing of Cardoza is scheduled for Feb. 15 in District Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th District Court.
