Milam County residents are asked to be aware that there are U.S. Census workers traveling throughout the county checking on residents and collecting data for the 2020 Census.
The Cameron Independent School District proposed a tax rate and budget during a public meeting on Aug. 31.
There were only two new cases of COVID confirmed in Milam County on Thursday, a child has also come down with COVID-19 related Multi-symptom Inflammatory Syndrome.
There is a little flash flooding on FM 1600 at Bear Creek just north of County Road 220. Milam County Sheriff Chris White said FM 1600 will be closed until water recedes off the road.
