The Thorndale Lady Dogs basketball team took on the Normangee Lady Panthers on Friday in the area round of the playoffs. They fell to Normangee in a 37-35 heartbreaking defeat.
The Thorndale Bulldogs played the Schulenburg Shorthorns in the bi-district round of the playoffs on Tuesday. They came up short in a soul crushing 52-51 defeat.
On Monday, Feb. 14, Thorndale ISD held its regularly scheduled meeting.
Four people have filed for three expiring seats on the Thorndale City Council as of Tuesday.
Steven Zuehlke, Marla Davis, Allen Hejl and Wayne Green have filed for the three seats.
On Thursday, Jan. 13, Thorndale ISD held two meetings.
The first meeting was a Board Appreciation Dinner hosted by the Thorndale FCCLA organization.
