The Thorndale Lady Dogs softball team took on the Normangee Lady Panthers at Caldwell in the area round of the playoffs. The Lady Dogs swept the Lady Panthers 2-0.

The Thorndale Bulldogs baseball team was back in action on Tuesday and hosted the Bremond Tigers. The Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 14-2 in five innings due to the 10-run rule being enforced.
The Thorndale City Council voted to establish an ordinance freezing residential property taxes for those 65 or older during a meeting on March 9.
The Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs competed at the Regional Powerlifting Meet.
